With reference to your letter of the 15th instant,

respecting a Power of Attorney given by you for use in

the Colony of Hongkong and a suggestion in a letter

from you to the Hongkong Eranch of your firm that

communications to the Hongkong Branch might be sent

via an Agent in Milan, I as directed by the Secretary of

State to say that he accepts your explanation and does

not propose to take any further action in the matter,

but that he relies on you to obseñve strictly the pro-

hibitions contained in the Trading with the Enemy Acts
